Right now she is pulling up and getting stronger at it. She loves her cats and "cat" is her favorite word. You can ask her what a cat says and she'll say, "mow." She loves her daddy. He has been working from home this week and often shut in our bedroom to not hear the noise of the house. Clare will go to his door and knock and say, "da, da, da, da, dy." Yesterday, she was even trying to push it open by placing her back against it and pushing with her feet. She has other words too, like bottle, bite, and blanket. They are all some deviation of "ba," but the inflection lets you know exactly what she wants and each day they get more clear. She says, "mama, mum mum (for food that is good), uh oh (one of her favorite games dropping something on purpose), duck (but only if we are feeding them), and she has words for her brother and sister that I can't really define.
I can't believe how fast she is growing. I just sent out her 1st birthday announcement. I've started getting her used to sippy cups for the transition to milk. She is outgrowing 24 month clothes and on her way to 2T. Tonight she even started being jealous of Lily and screaming if Lily had a toy she wanted. HATE the screaming, but it is definitely new that she even noticed. Usually she just attacks Lily in the name of love or wanting to poke her eyes out.:) This girl is amazing.
